Laura Bailey is a medieval historian interested in ideas of landscape and geography, and how we might use them to access the medieval past. Her PhD at King’s College, Cambridge, focused on literary representations of landscape in Old French literature. She has given papers at conferences across the UK and beyond, including the prestigious Marjorie Chibnall Memorial Lecture. Laura is Programme Director for Living History and Events at Chalke History Festival, and Festival Director for We Have Ways Fest.
