Master storyteller Piers Torday (The Last Wild) takes us on a breathtaking journey, exploring how a trip to Transylvania by train opened up both his family heritage and Romanian folklore and history for a Gothic adventure with a twist: Midnight Treasure. In an empire of vampires and werewolves, Tibor and Roza are on a deadly quest for a treasure more valuable than gold. Battling with bears, wrestling with vampires and racing against the clock, Tibor and Roza must decide who to trust. Learn more about the extraordinary history of Transylvania which has given rise to so many world famous myths and monsters. Suitable for ages 8+
