Jackson van Uden is a historian and political theorist who specialises in dictators and power and is an incoming History PhD Candidate at Royal Holloway, University of London. Jackson set up his history platform, History with Jackson, in 2021 with the aim of making history more accessible and digestible for everyone through books, articles, podcasts and video content. Since setting up History with Jackson he has worked with many leading historians, historical institutions and events across the world with his content being watched by millions of people. His work has appeared in All About History Magazine, and History of War Magazine and he has featured on many top history podcasts, such as History Rage and Talking Tudors. He is also one of the Festival Organisers and the Talks Curator of the Katharine of Aragon Festival in Peterborough. In 2024 he was named in BBC History Extra’s 30 Under 30 list as one of the best young historians in the country.
