To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio in 2023, BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Jack Jewers was asked to create a very special series of six short films. Powerful, imaginative, and often very moving, inVerse takes some of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches and sonnets and reimagines them to tell stories about the world we live in today. Filmed in places as diverse as the Ukrainian war zone, and the edge of space itself, the films feature an all-star voice cast, including Cerys Matthews and Tom Baker..
