FESTIVAL SITE MAP
The Festival site is on a working farm on the southern edge of Broad Chalke. The 2026 Festival Site Map will be released soon.
CHALKE HISTORY FESTIVAL
Monday & Tuesday – 4pm – 11:30pm
Wednesday – Saturday – 9:15am – 11:30pm
Sunday - 9.15am - 5.30pm
Sorry no dogs on site – even in the car park.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please do not bring alcohol – there is a fantastic bar.
FESTIVAL FOR SCHOOLS
Monday & Tuesday – 9:15am – 3:15pm
TRAVEL
DRIVING
There will be a one-way system in place so please allow extra time, especially at the weekend, to reach the Festival.
Please follow the signs to the Festival rather than your SatNav.
TRAINS
Trains run to Salisbury every 1/2 hour from London (please allow at least 45 minutes to get to the Festival from Salisbury train station).
BUS
Number 29 bus runs between Salisbury and Shaftesbury (Mon-Sat). There is a request stop by the Church then follow the Festival signs. The walk to the Festival is about a third of a mile.
