Weather Update for Visitors – Wednesday & Thursday

22/06/2026

We are aware of the current weather warning covering the Salisbury area for Wednesday and Thursday and are closely monitoring conditions throughout the event.

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, staff and volunteers remains our highest priority. We have already implemented a number of additional measures to help everyone stay comfortable and safe during the forecast hot weather:

  • Additional shaded areas have been provided across the event site.
  • Two mains-water refill stations will be available for visitors to top up water bottles free of charge.
  • Our on-site medical team is fully trained to identify and treat heat-related illnesses, including dehydration. They are equipped with rehydration treatments and advanced medical support if required.
  • Additional fans have been installed in our talk tents.
  • Tent sides will be opened where possible to maximise airflow and ventilation.

We would also encourage all visitors to:

  • Bring a refillable water bottle.
  • Avoid drinking too much alcohol; cold soft drinks are available to purchase.
  • Wear loose, lightweight clothing.
  • Apply and regularly reapply sunscreen.
  • Wear a hat and sunglasses when outdoors.
  • Take regular breaks in shaded areas.
  • Check on friends, family members and anyone who may be more vulnerable to the heat.

We will continue to monitor weather forecasts and conditions on site and will provide any further updates if necessary.

We look forward to welcoming you and thank you for helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
