Alice Boorman is a Writer, Producer/Director, and Development Executive, with a specialism in historical and currents affairs documentaries. She has a decades worth of experience originating factual television ideas, taking them from their very first pitch, through production, and all the way to our TV screens. Her most recent work includes BBC’s Jane Austen: Rise of a Genius and the Grierson-nominated Shakespeare: Rise of a Genius, where she had the privilege of interviewing historians and legends alike. Her films span multiple broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, Amazon and Netflix, totalling over 100 hours of television.
