In 1984 Emma realised that the world needed a supply of really lovely mismatched colourful hand-decorated pottery… Ten days later she was getting off a train in Stone on Trent with a folder of drawings – and as she travelled across the city to find out how to go about this, she knew she had found her destiny. There followed an unlikely adventure in the embers of heavy industry – 41 years on her company employs around 36- people and makes and decorates a LOT of mugs. Emma is a past Trustee and long-term corporate supporter of the National Garden Scheme.
