Julian Lindley-French
Professor Julian Lindley-French is Chairman of The Alphen Group (TAG) and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. In September 2026 he will publish the updated paperback edition of The Retreat from Strategy with Field Marshal Lord Richards. His books include The Oxford Handbook of War, NATO: The Enduring Alliance, and Future War and the Defence of Europe. In 2027, he will publish Future War in the PAcIfic.
