Ophelia Field

Ophelia Field is the author of two historical biographies set in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries: The Favourite: Sarah Duchess of Marlborough and The Kit-Cat Club: Friends who Imagined a Nation (an FT History Book of the Year). She currently directs the University of Buckingham’s London-based postgraduate Biography Programme and consults for the Council of Europe.
