General Sir Richard Shirreff served in the British Army for 37 years, retiring in 2014 as NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe. Since becoming a civilian he has founded Strategia Worldwide Ltd, a strategic risk advisory company and, in 2016 published a political thriller ‘2017: War with Russia’ which became a best seller and has been translated into eight languages.
