Caroline Sharples

Dr Caroline Sharples is Senior Lecturer in History at the University of Roehampton. Her research focuses on memories of National Socialism, war crimes trials and perpetrator representation. She is the author of West Germans and the Nazi Legacy (2012) and Postwar Germany and the Holocaust (2016). Her new work, The Long Death of Adolf Hitler constitutes the first cultural history approach to the demise of the Nazi dictator.
