Stephen Pollington has been writing on a range of early mediaeval topics for more than thirty years, including military culture, medicine, and healing, language and literature, runes and writing systems, trajectories in the development of art, myth, religion and belief. He has lectured widely on these and related topics, provided voice-over for television and radio and been a script advisor on several projects. He teaches Old English language and literature with CityLit in London.
